Hydrogen Valley Tour

Join us on a tour through Europe’s first hydrogen valley in the Northern Netherlands. You will tour through the Hydrogen Valley and see all developments with your own eyes. It starts with a visit at Groningen Seaports to see how they import hydrogen and start different project in the harbor. We’ll continue in the Eemshaven with a tour and go towards ENGIE where they are working on the development of the first large-scale, green hydrogen chain in the Northern Netherlands: HyNetherlands. Lastly we go to Gasunie to see how they connect all the hydrogen with transport and storage.

Programme & participation

The programme is as follow:

  • 08:15- 08:30: Gather and departure at Groningen Central Station
  • 08.30 – 09:15: Drive to Eemshaven
  • 09:15 – 11:15: Presentation and tour through Eemshaven, guided by Groningen Seaports
  • 11:15 – 13:00: Presentation at ENGIE about HyNetherlands
  • 13:00 – 13:30: Drive to Gasunie
  • 13:30 – 15:00: Presentation at Gasunie about storage and transport of hydrogen
  • 15:15: Return at Groningen central station
